Analisis Aerodinamika pada Sayap JABIRU J430 dengan Penambahan Vortex Generator menggunakan Metode CFD

Jabiru J430 aircraft is a type of light produced by the manufacturer with four passenger seats which has length 6550 mm and height 2200 high wing additional winglets. This study aims to determine effect installing vortex generator on upper surface aerodynamic characteristics, especially at critical angle conditions. As it known that functions produce in air flow so can delay occurrence separation improve performance wing. In this study, comparison was made between characteristics without addition generator. The used flat plate counter-rotating configuration. From simulation results, be seen airflow wings using are more stable when compared airfoils increase maximum lift coefficient from CL 0.997 (20 attack) 1.126 (angle attack 24º) or an 12.9%, drag occurs as increases.
